After meeting at the 18th hole of a golf tournament, Emily was struck by Will’s “kind and genuine personality”. A few months later, she still couldn’t get Will off her mind, so she took a leap of faith and messaged him. After the pair’s first date, they were inseparable.

Coral, Gold, & Blush College Station Wedding
College is a time for growth preparation for life as an adult. For Heather and Nick, it also provided their chance encounter. Meeting at Texas A&M’s “Fish Camp” orientation program, the two began a sweet romance. During Heather’s senior year of college, while she worked in Arizona for six weeks Nick came to visit her and took her on a gorgeous hike through the Grand Canyon. With the breath-taking view as a backdrop, Nick popped the question. “With tears already streaming down my face, my exact words were ‘YES, but there’s nothing in the box.'” Startled by her response, Nick began searching for the ring and thankfully found it next to him, and (shaking a little), slid it onto her finger. “I was laughing and crying at the same time,” Heather says. The couple decided to take their nuptials back to the place where they first met, and exchanged vows at Peach Creek Ranch in College Station. With its rustic charm, the barn house, surrounded by cozy cottages, provided them with their own slice of Heaven for the day. Congratulations, Heather and Nick, on finding your forever love!

Vintage Blush & Gold Wedding at The Gallery
Houston bride Kristi went to town on planning the details for her candlelit, garden-inspired, beautiful wedding at The Gallery. Kristi carefully thought out every single detail, from the wax-sealed vintage programs, to rose-folded vanilla napkins, to spending months collecting wine bottles to hand make soy wax candles for the guests! Kristi and her groom, Ross chose a soft color palette of blush, ivory, gold, and hints of mint that filled the room for a romantic setting. There were not one, but FIVE different white-on-white cakes, custom macaroni and cheese bar, AND a late night doughnut station for the guests to indulge in. If you think all of this sounds amazing, just wait ‘til you see how gorgeous the photos are! Congrats & well wishes to Kristi & Ross!

Blush Pink, Gold & Ivory Wedding at Chateau Cocomar by DC Stanley
WEDDINGS IN HOUSTON FALL 2014 | REAL WEDDING FEATURE
Michelle and Chris ~ September 14, 2013
While Michelle admits that meeting Chris as a high-school senior “was not love at first sight, as I was not looking for a boyfriend,” her future husband’s persistence paid off. Seven years after they met, the couple joined together in matrimony, with an elegant wedding in Chateau Cocomar’s magnificent castle-like setting, complete with marble floors and twinkling chandeliers. Michelle’s chosen palette of soft neutrals and a hint of blush pink created an air of timeless romance—the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds’ first dance (Michelle’s favorite wedding memory), and every moment thereafter. At the night’s close, guests held aloft 20-inch-long sparklers as Mr. and Mrs. O’Malley shared a kiss.
