It was December 2013 when Ben took Matti on a surprise horse-drawn carriage ride to look at Christmas lights. “We stopped under one of the brightest trees to take a picture and as soon as we started smiling, he turned to me and got down on one knee! I don’t think he even asked me to marry him because he was so nervous. I shook my head ‘yes’ anyway. Our entire family and friends were waiting for us to celebrate!” says Matti.
