Rustic Autumn Wedding At Briscoe Manor
With a partner as sweet as Robert, it’s no wonder why Leslie said, “Yes,” to him. “He proposed at our home on Christmas Eve before being joined by family. He wanted us to each open one gift that night, so I suspected something was up,” recalled Leslie. “I opened a photo album that had ‘The Mays’ engraved on the front. The album was filled with pictures of us, and the last page had an insert that read ‘Engagement photo?'” Awww. Their rustic autumn wedding at picturesque Briscoe Manor had everything we love: lush, bright florals; outdoor “I do’s;” and tons of candlelight at a party that lasted deep into the night. Following their moonlit ceremony, the newlyweds, along with 150 of their closest family and friends, feasted on pecan smoked pork loin with truffle mustard and chicken with Kentucky Bourbon teriyaki. Uh…yum! Congratulations to you both, Leslie and Robert, and may you enjoy a lifetime of love and happiness!

Coral, Gold, & Blush College Station Wedding
College is a time for growth preparation for life as an adult. For Heather and Nick, it also provided their chance encounter. Meeting at Texas A&M’s “Fish Camp” orientation program, the two began a sweet romance. During Heather’s senior year of college, while she worked in Arizona for six weeks Nick came to visit her and took her on a gorgeous hike through the Grand Canyon. With the breath-taking view as a backdrop, Nick popped the question. “With tears already streaming down my face, my exact words were ‘YES, but there’s nothing in the box.'” Startled by her response, Nick began searching for the ring and thankfully found it next to him, and (shaking a little), slid it onto her finger. “I was laughing and crying at the same time,” Heather says. The couple decided to take their nuptials back to the place where they first met, and exchanged vows at Peach Creek Ranch in College Station. With its rustic charm, the barn house, surrounded by cozy cottages, provided them with their own slice of Heaven for the day. Congratulations, Heather and Nick, on finding your forever love!

6 Unique Wedding Guestbooks You’ll Display Long After the Big Day
Let’s face it, a regular ol’ guestbook at your wedding will only be useful for one night. After that, it likely will join other keepsakes in a closet somewhere to gather dust until you get a notion to haul it out for a look-see wayyyyy down the road. Instead of a dust-collector, we recommend you re-think your wedding guestbook as a collector-worthy work of personalized art that you’ll be proud to show off in your newlywed nest for years to come!
For travelers and adventure-seekers, a customized globe guestbook lets wedding guests feel like they’re going on this adventure with you!

Family, friends and faith come together in a bible guestbook, where wedding attendees have the opportunity to circle, highlight or decorate around their favorite verse and sign their names, creating an heirloom that can be passed down for generations.

Rustic-Elegant Barn Wedding by Plants N’ Petals
If we were to give out awards for adorable proposal stories, we’d definitely have to hand one out to Houston couple Britnie and Valentino. “When Britnie and I first started dating, we used to jam out to ‘Anyone Else But You’ by The Moldy Peaches, but we added our own lyrics,” says Valentino. So, naturally, when Valentino had the opportunity to propose to Britnie in front of 200 people at a church retreat, he decided to sing out the beloved indie hit…his way. It went a little something like this: “I am a Jedi and you were an English major/I’ll always protect you with my blue light saber/Here I kneel on this one knee/Oh Britnie, will you tell me you’ll marry me/Because I don’t see this ring more fitting for anyone else but you.” Just like that he swept his beloved off her feet, and they tied the knot a year later with their dearest family and friends in attendance, surrounded by insanely gorgeous flowers and decor from Plants N’ Petals. They even included their favorite Houston hangouts, Southside Espresso, as a vendor at the wedding, which “gave our guests a great non-alcoholic option,” the groom says. Congratulations, Britnie & Valentino, and thank you SO MUCH for sharing your beautiful celebration with us!
