Katie and Garrett’s story began when Katie’s parents moved to Pearland, TX. As fate would have it, Katie moved into the house behind Garrett in middle school, ultimately leading to dating in high school and staying together while attending Texas A&M. Katie told her family that she would marry him only weeks into dating Garrett.
Jennifer and Andrew met in paradise while on an excursion during a company trip in Mexico. Andrew asked Jennifer to share a locker, and the rest is history. In March 2019, Andrew set up a surprise engagement on the sandy beaches of Kauai, Hawaii. “He made reservations for dinner at the Sheraton, but before dinner, we were walking on the beach. He had hired a photographer who was posing as a random beach go-er. They offered to take our photo, and after a couple of shots, I moved positions, and when I turned around, he was down on one knee,” Jennifer remembers.
Rehearsal dinners are more than just an evening affair to “rehearse the wedding,” the night before your big day—it’s a wonderful occasion to meet members of the “other side of the family” or “ extended members of your new family” and bond with your loved ones in an intimate setting.
